eLearning involves the delivery of knowledge and expertise through the use of technology using a combination of engaging content and instant feedback.

The success of eLearning lies in its ability to combine the different methods of information absorption: visual; auditory; the written word; and kinaesthetic. Most people favour one, but learn by a combination of all methods, and eLearning allows us to see, hear, read and do.

eLearning is organised into a traditional course structure through the use of a Learning Management System (LMS), the key component of any eLearning system.
